Title: Team Leader, Senior Landscape Construction, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week

Salary Range: $75459.63 to $87697.19 per annum + super (subject to skills and experiences)

Northern Beaches Council was created in 2016 through the three councils of Manly, Pittwater and Warringah coming together to deliver the highest quality services to the community. Exciting new infrastructure projects and community programs have quickly demonstrated the positive impact the new council is having.


Role Purpose
Reporting to the Landscape Construction Supervisor, this position is responsible for the day to day management of key construction site. The Landscape Construction Team deliver structural landscape works and minor civil works including but not limited to: seawalls, pathways, landscape elements, retaining walls, storm water works and car parks.


Key Responsibilities
•    Manage each project they work on to ensure the timely and high quality of projects being undertaken by the team.
•    Manage sites to ensure safety for other team members and members of the community
•    Manage, integrate, motivate and develop an outcome driven team with a focus on proactive customer culture and ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything the team does
•    Proactively contribute to the Safety in Design process and ensure a positive and proactive safety and environmental ‘zero harm’ culture.
•    Work collaboratively with all other Council teams and foster a collaborative and helpful culture.
