We’re very fortunate to call this our workplace and, if you’re a highly motivated and enthusiastic town planner with excellent communication skills, we’d like to invite you to join our collaborative and innovative development assessment team. We’re looking to add a permanent Senior Development Assessment Officer to the team.
We’re committed to achieving excellence in our planning/development decisions and the design of our buildings and facilities. Your role will be to engage multiple stakeholders in the planning and development process in order to assess and resolve complex planning, urban design and heritage issues on development applications in a high profile, iconic area of Sydney.
Our DA team offers an inspiring opportunity to develop as a DA planner in a high performing, friendly and fun environment. The complexity and diversity of the types of development in our LGA will provide you with a huge scope of experience and exposure to complex and large projects. Waverley offers great career prospects through a variety of learning and development initiatives, as well as a flexible working environment to ensure career/life balance. You’ll work hours that allow you to take regular time off and have access to our health and wellbeing program and more. As a Senior Planner, you will also have the potential to act up into the Manger’s role.
Waverley Council is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all candidates. We encourage applications from women and men from diverse groups, including, but not limited to, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people; people from culturally diverse backgrounds; young people; older workers; people with disabilities; LGBTIQ; and other minority groups.
