We currently have an opportunity available to utilise your current skills while further developing your experience in development engineering.
You will be responsible for assessing and providing advice on the development engineering aspects of applications for development, for compliance with Council’s policies and industry standards, to minimise impacts on road and stormwater infrastructure. The role also includes regulating and issuing of approvals for permits and works within the road reserve predominantly associated with developments.
To be successful you will hold a tertiary degree qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent together with experience in assessing development engineering aspects for commercial, industrial, medium and high density residential developments.
Additional remuneration may be considered and negotiable based upon experience.
Being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 is a requirement prior to commencement of employment with Willoughby City Council, except where a medical contraindication certificate is provided.
