Working as part of Council’s Compliance team, this position is primarily responsible for Council’s Pool Inspection Program to improve and maintain a high standard of safety for swimming pools to protect our community. 


In addition to pool inspections, you will respond to compliance building complaints; investigate unauthorised tree pruning/removals; update and maintain records; and liaise effectively with the community on compliance matters.


To be considered, you will need tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying or a related field. You will need a comprehensive knowledge of legislation relating to the position and experience in dealing with complaints and issuing notices, directions and orders relating to compliance matters.
