Campbelltown City Council is looking for our next generation of Learn to Swim Instructors to join our leisure team!

Council's Leisure Services include:

  • Eagle Vale Central
  • Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre
  • The Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre

  • Paid on the job training provided by Council at Eagle Vale Central.
  • Obtain Teacher and Resuscitation certifications.
  • Training rate $16.06 - $24.71 per hour dependant on age
  • Certified rate $20.08 - $30.89 per hour dependant on age
  • Weekend penalty rates as applicable
  • Pro rata Sick Leave and Annual Leave accruals on Seasonal Contract.
  • 9.5% superannuation
  • Seasonal Contract 
  • Future Seasonal Contract or Casual employment opportunities available in 2022
  • Flexible shift options (mornings, afternoon and weekends)
  • Weekly pay

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a minimum age of 17 years due to course pre-requisite requirements
  • Be available to complete the qualification and on the job training on Saturday 8th & Saturday 15th May 2021
  • Available for up to 16 practical training hours from 10th May 2021-27th June 2021
  • Successfully complete the training and assessments
  • Be available to work a minimum of 6 hours per week for Term 3 & 4 of 2021.
  • Possess effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possess a valid Working with Children Check
